On September 15th, 2022, Mr. Jan Andersson, director of product management of Indexable inserts at YG-1 AMERICA INC. (U.S.A.), had a keynote presentation with the theme of ‘Breaking fallacies in tooling – how it impacts the bottom line.’

He explained how common fallacies and misconceptions exist in the tooling industry and how they impact profitability. And discussed with the audience how a different thought process in tooling development, selection, and utilization can generate significant productivity gains and cost savings.
