YG-1 has strengthened the popular K-2 Carbide End Mill portfolio, with the addition of a new 4 flute multiple helix line that is engineered for Steel, Stainless Steel and Cast Iron machining.
The newly developed K-2 4 flute multiple helix solution, designed for semi-roughing applications, produces excellent chip formation and chip evacuation. Furthermore, the unique unequal index reduces noise and vibration, resulting in superior surface finish. In addition, the YG-1 X-Coating technology provides a high level of heat resistance and corrosion resistance.
The K-2 multiple helix type was launched in the European market in July in both long and short lengths, from 3mm to 20mm. K-2 Carbide Endmills will deliver excellent general milling performance in many industries such Mold & Die, Automotive, and General Engineering.
